Marking the continuation of a long-standing tradition, a significant ritual ceremony was conducted at Tharoilok in Heibok Ching, coinciding with the sacred full moon of the season.
The ritual, organized by the Kabui Customary Council and led by its priest Kamei Khammei Kabui, was held with deep reverence. Vice President of the Lainingthou Sanamahi Temple Board, Vidyapati Senjam, also known as Wakhallamjingba, attended the ceremony along with the Board’s Maibarel, Maisnam Iboba Luwang, and Amaiba Sanglakpa, Salam Mani Meetei. The presence of Amaibi Loisang and Pena Loisang members further enriched the spiritual significance of the event.
In addition, senior member of the Temple Board, Keisam Ibomcha Mangang, conducted another ritual in the presence of Umanglai Loisanggi Sanglakpa Konsam Tomchou. Various traditional offerings were made at sacred sites including Teragi Wangthonbi Pung, Khuraigi Ahongpung, Kongbagi Soudong Pung, and Kakwagi Lamdaipung to honor the spirits of the land and seek blessings.
