To counter ‘CM da Haisi’, Congress launches ‘Sarkar Taribra’ programme

AICC in-charge Bhakta Charan Das today hit hard to the Chief Minister N. Biren Singh government questioning to reveal the number of people who had been punished on charge of corruption within the 4 and half years of his government.
The Congress leader said this while launching “Sarkar Taribra” which literarily means “ Govt. are you listening” and ‘INC YouTube channel’, at today morning at Rishang Keishing media center, Congress Bhavan here in Imphal.
“Sarkar Taribra” which literarily means “ Govt. are you listening” and ‘INC youtube channel’ was launched with a mission to check the effectiveness or to highlight to the people the real purpose of Chief Minister N. Biren Singh’s programme “CM da Haisi” (let’s tell to CM), the Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) today launched a similar programme to check its efficiency called “Sarkar Taribra” which literarily means “ Govt. are you listening”. Along with the programmed the MPCC also launched ‘INC YouTube Channel’ where the Congress keyboard warriors will upload the grievances of the public as well as highlight whether people are really getting the benefit of “CM da Haisi” programme, where people lodged their complaint through the telephone number provided to them.
The AICC in charge of Manipur state Bhakta Charan Das said that the purpose of the programme ‘Sarkar Taribra’ is to listen to the grievances of the general public who had called to the number of the CM da Haisi but never fulfil their demand.
“Those who called to the Chief Minister through the “CM da Haisi’ and nothing has been done for them can communicate to us at “Sakar Taribra”, Bhakta Charan Das said adding that even the media people can contact through this number.
Regarding the newly launched ‘INC YouTube Channel’, Bhakta Charan Das said that the channel will highlight all the activities of the Congress party at the different community levels, block level, district level and at Provincial level.
The AICC in charge of Manipur also ridicule the Chief Minister’s programme “ CM da Haisi” saying that it is an attempt to get in touch with the voters which he realized after 4 and a half years.
“Suddenly he (N. Biren Singh) wake up and realize the necessities of listening to people he had forgotten for the last 4 and half years”, Charan Das said. The AICC representative also attacked Chief Minister N. Biren Singh’s government for imposing restrictions on the Freedom of expression.
He said when many corrupt officials or individuals are let free some sincere and dedicated government officials have been punished. Bhaktacharan Das was referring to Th Brinda , who faced the music for her vocal against the government.
N Loken President MPCC, Kh Devabrata, MPCC Vice President, MPCC General Secretary Hareshwar Goshwami were amongst those who were present during the launching event.
