TNL condemns recent killings in Jiribam, calls for humanity

Imphal, Nov 20:

The Tangkhul Naga Long (TNL) has strongly condemned the recent spate of brutal killings in Jiribam, describing the violence as a profound assault on humanity. In a statement issued by R.S. Jollyson, Vice President of TNL, the organization expressed shock and dismay over the tragic loss of lives in the ongoing conflict.
Jollyson acknowledged that conflicts often lead to physical confrontations between opposing sides, resulting in grave consequences such as loss of lives. However, he emphasized that allowing such conflicts to devolve into a “killing spree” targeting helpless and innocent individuals has no place in a civilized society.
While the identities and affiliations of the young victims from both sides remain unclear, Jollyson stressed that there could be no justification for the killing of innocent women and children. He urged all parties involved to recognize the inhumanity of their actions, stating that such violence destroys the very essence of humanity.
