Imphal, July 5: Deputy Commissioner of Thoubal District, L. Nabakishwar Singh (IAS) had requested Thoubal district SP to arrest SDC (HQ) Lilong Sub Division, Shri Md. Itocha for absconding from his responsibilities assigned at the critical hour of alarming flash flood situation. In his letter to the Superintendent of Police, Thoubal district, the DC Thoubal said that the SDC is absconding from his official duties which amount to dereliction of duties and unbecoming conduct of a public servant which in turn grievously hampers the Flood relief operation going on in the sub-division. The DC requested the SP to arrest of the SDC from his personal residence at Hiyangthang, Thongkhong, Imphal West.
