The unarmed 13 persons were killed after tortured by Indian SF and Kuki Mercenary – RPF

Proscribed group the Revolutionary People’s Front (RPF) today said that the thirteen dead bodies who were brutally murdered in between Leithao and Moltham village in Tengnoupal district on December 4 were among the unarmed youths who believed in the struggle of the RPF and came for training to become cadres of the RPF’s armed wing the People’s Liberation Army (PLA).
A statement issued by Roben Khuman, Deputy Secretary Publicity, RPF said that the 13 persons who came for training to become PLA lost their lives at the hands of Indian Security Forces and Kuki Mercenary groomed by them.
“Those unarmed peoples who believed in the freedom struggle of Manipur were brutally murdered by the Indian Security Forces using the Kuki Mercenary which they financed, provided weapons in their custody. They were tortured inhumanly before killing them”, the RPF statement said and added that such is an extreme act of terrorism, that violates Common Article 3 and Additional Protocol of the Geneva Convention, 1949. The RPF said that the rebel group which is a signatory to the convention considered such brutality as War Crime that can be punished by the International Court of Justice.
The statement of the RPF also details how they utilized the Kuki Mercenary to suppress the armed rebel groups that refused to hold a talk. They have been their weapon in the proxy war of India. It said during the 1980s they established Kuki Commando to counter the Naga freedom struggle. As a result of this, there was a Naga–Kuki clash in 1993. Later they established Kuki groups and provoked them to demand their homeland which caused ethnic clashes between Kuki – Naga, Kuki – Paite, Kuki – Hmar, etc.
“Today the world knows that India is committing proxy war using the Kuki Mercenaries and thus, the dream of India to become a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council will never be fulfilled”, Roben Khuman said. He said that the tears of the people of Manipur are never noticed by Delhi. It is only we who will wipe out our tears.
