Imphal, Sep 30: The Kuki Independence War Memorial Community Hall cum Museum and Library being inaugurated today at Kuki Independence War Memorial Complex (Kuki Inn), Imphal.
Attending the inaugural function as Chief Guest, ex-MP, Rajya Sabha, Rishangkeishing said that Manipur is not only for one religion there are various kind of religions. In a diverse state like Manipur there will be disappointment in some or the other way. In order to bring development in the state we should forget what happened earlier and live together with the thought of oneness, said Rishangkeishing. He added that the Kuki Independence War Memorial Community Hall-cum-Museum has been set up to immortalize the memory of the great Kuki freedom fighters.
Pu. C. Doungel, ex-Minister and Thangkhosei Haokip, President, Kuki Inpi, Manipur attended the function as Guest of Honour and Functional President respectively. Various gospel songs and cultural dance have been performed during the inaugural function.
On the occasion a souvenir of the Kuki Independence War Memorial Hall cum Musuem and Library inauguration was also released.
