Education, Labour & Employment Minister Thokchom Radheshyam attended the observation of the 4th International Day of Yoga held at the Inter State Bus Terminus (ISBT), Chingmeirong.
Two Yoga Guru Shri Heisnam Mitreshwar Singh and MC Binod were honoured during the observance. Jointly organized by the Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Manipur and Para Vidya Yog Sanstha, Manipur unit the observance was participated by 2600 volunteers. A mass Yoga Demonstration was held lead by P. Sanahal Sharma.
The 4th International Day of Yoga was attended by MLA Kshetrigao A/C Shri N. Indrajit Singh, MLA Keirao A/C Shri L. Rameshwor Meitei, dignitaries and volunteers.
The Field Bureau , Imphal, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Govt. of India also organised a function to observe the 4th International day of Yoga at Kendrya Vidyalaya , CRPF Group Center, Lanjing in Imphal West district today.
The Inuagural function was graced by the PIG (Range) Imphal Brig. SK. Sharma as the Chief Guestwhile Additional Director general, Region ) Imphal S.K Malviya attended as president.
Alung Khumba Principal KVK Langjing and M Touthang Joint Director Regional Outreach Imphal Attended as guest of honours.
At the Yoga session arounf 100 people including students , teachers and staffs of the regional Outreach Bureau participated. Lecture on the benefit of Yoga was also delivered by experts on the occasion.
