Tension erupts at Wabagai centre after alleged denial of extra time in Class XII Exam

The Higher Secondary Examination 2026 conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur was reportedly disrupted on the first day at Wabagai Higher Secondary Examination Centre following allegations that extra time was denied to certain students.
According to reports, the incident occurred during the conduct of the Class XII examination when some candidates protested against the alleged refusal to grant additional time. In the course of the protest, a few students reportedly tore their answer scripts inside the examination hall, triggering tension at the centre.
