Tension erupts at Moreh after Kuki people try to occupy at properties of displaced people

Amidst Supreme Court directives to protect the properties of the displaced people due to the ongoing conflict in the state, tension erupted in border town Moreh after Kuki people tried to occupy the properties of the displaced Meitei people in the border town.
Report reaching here said that a large number of Kuki people tried to occupy shops and houses that were vandalized and burnt by the Kuki people at Moreh Ima Keithel Community Variety Market early today morning. Security forces present there tried to stop the Kuki people from occupying the market area. However, the Kuki people instead of listening to the security forces protested.
Following the report, Security forces have been reinforced at the Border town.
