Chandel, Aug 7: Tarao Students’ Union has clarified that the press statement of the Union published on August 1 regarding the nomination of Chandel ADC members was not an unanimous decision of the students’ body.
In a press statement, President of Tarao Students’ Union, Katrimsha Moningyear stated that though the Union strongly condemned the decision of the State Government over the appointment of ADC nominee members of Chandel District, the Union however, had nothing against any individuals, authority or Minister D. Korungthang.
The statement added that there was no unanimous decision of the student body to boycott the ADC.
