Imphal, April 20: Three Tangkhul bodies, Tangkhul People Organization of Imphal, Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong, Imphal and Tangkhul Shanao Long staged sit-in protest denouncing brutal killing of Pa Chinao Shang at Kangkhul Baptish Church, Chingmeirong today. The protestors strongly condemned the kidnapping and killing of innocent person. Protesters demanded to punish the culprits at the earliest, ex-gratia of Rs 5 Lakhs.
The protesting organizations gave ultimatum to Government of three weeks to fulfill their demands if fails have announced to call intense agitations with other organizations.
Speaking to media persons, C Ngaraipam, Convener of the three Tangkhul bodies and Secretary of Tangkhul People Organization of Imphal urged all communities in Manipur to join together in fighting against such social evils.
