Imphal, April 12: BJP MLA T Thangzalam Haokip, who is also a member of the Hill Area Committee, Manipur Legislative Assembly has been unanimously elected as the Chairman of the HAC, Manipur Legislative Assembly.
T Thangzalam Haokip was elected from Henglep Constituency of Churanchandpur district by getting 8438 votes in the 11th Manipur Legislative Assembly Election. He won by a margin of 268 compared to his immediate rival T Manga Vaiphei of INC.
