In the direction of cleanliness under the ‘Swachhta Hi Seva’ campaign, Rangnamei Rang Peter, IAS, Deputy Commissioner of Kamjong District officially launched the fortnight-long ‘Swachhta Hi Seva (SHS) 2024’ mega campaign at Thawai village today at the village Community Hall.
The District Administration Kangpokpi kickstarted the “Swachhata Hi Seva” campaign at the DC Conference Hall Kangpokpi.
The campaign includes various cleanliness activities drives at offices, Institutional building, health check up for sanitation workers, awareness on sanitation and cleanliness, mega cleanliness drives in commercials and market areas, door to door awareness, cleanliness drives in water bodies – river, lakes , ponds, drains, etc.
Deputy Commissioner, Tamenglong Dr. L Angshim Dangshawa officially launched the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign today. The event, held at the DC office compound, Mini Secretariat marked the beginning of a concerted effort to inspire citizens to take responsibility for their surroundings.
Noney ADM Stiff Khapudang today launched the Swachhata Hi Seva-2024 programme at the DC Office Complex, Longmai. A Swachhata Hi Seva pledge led by Stiff was also taken by everyone present at the function. The main activity of today’s launching function consisted of mass scale cleanliness drive in and around the Noney DC Office premises. PHED Noney spearheaded the campaign as the nodal department in the district.
The programme was also attended by ZEO Noney Xavier Longmei, CMO Dr. Zianthuilung Kamei, Executive Engineer PHED Thanchui Panmei and DCO (District Cooperative Officer) D. Dongaingam.
