“Swachchata Hi Seva” Campaign: Cleanliness Drive & Tree Plantation held in Thoubal District

Sanitation workers and staff of Thoubal Municipal Council today cleaned Thoubal Keithel and gave awareness to market vendors (mainly women) and shopkeepers about “Swachhata Hi Sewa” campaign being observed in the district under the District Administration. The council also organised tree plantation programme today at Thoubal Khunou Waste Management Plant which was participated by many youth volunteers and TMC staffs.
The Sikhong Sekmal Municipal Council today organised cleanliness drive and tree plantation activity at Municipal Solid Waste Management site located at Ward No. 6. It may be mentioned that yesterday the council had organised cleanliness and plogging drive at Ward No. 3.
As part of the ongoing “ Swachta hi Seva” campaign the Office of the District Officer, Horticulture and Soil Conservation, Thoubal informed that the staff conducted cleanliness activities in the office area and periphery on 18th September, 2023.
The fortnightly programme which is being observed from 17th September will be held till 2nd October 2023 in the district.
