Students interaction programme with Scientists held at IBSD, Imphal

To inculcate the scientific temperament and to stimulate scientific and technological capacity for the student community through dissemination of scientific knowledge, Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development (IBSD), Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India has organized one day scientific visit for students of Oriental College, Imphal yesterday.
While addressing the visiting students, Prof. Pulok K Mukherjee, Director, IBSD, Imphal briefed about the various resources and facilities available in Manipur. He encouraged the students to share their innovative ideas which can be explored further for translation.
All the students visited different laboratories, interacted with the researchers. Students had an insight exposure to learn the functioning and uses of various instruments/facilities available at IBSD.
