Students of CC Higher Secondary School has warned the government of serious agitation if the government fails to announced the exact date for completion of the Sanjenthong Bridge. Earlier, the Chief Minister of Manipur had assured the people of Manipur to complete the construction of Sanjenthong Bridge before Sangai Festival last year.
In a press statement, the Students’ Union of CC Higher Secondary School said that students and teachers of the School are facing problem in attending regular classes as those from the Imphal West site have to divert a long way to reach the school. The union appealed the government to announce the date for completion of bridge on or before May 14 and added that the union will have to choose another agitation if the government fail to do so.
