Students’ League today staged sit-in-protest at Lamlai urging the central government for CBI investigation to the misappropriation of around rupees 224 crores for cleaning of Phumdis of the Loktak Lake. A memorandum has also been submitted to the Prime Minister of India urging him for immediate CBI probe into the misappropriation of fund.
