Imphal, Sept 13: Scheduled Tribe Demand Committee (STDC) for the Meitei/ Meetei community is all set to resume its movement for inclusion of the Meitei/ Meetei community as Scheduled Tribe under the constitution of India. A statement by Waikhom Anand Meitei, Publicity Secretary said that that a public meeting will be convened on September 24 at Iboyaima Sumang Leela Sanglen Palace Compound from 10.30 am. The STDC requested civil society organisations and Meira Paibi to sent their representatives to attend the public meeting.
