State health Minister signs MoU to implement PMMRSSM in alliance with CMHT

Health Minister L. Jayantakumar Singh attended Health Minister’s Conclave on National Health Protection Scheme (Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Swasthya Surakhsha Mission) (PMRSSM)  at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi today.
A Memorandum of Understanding was exchanged between State Governments and National Health Agency, MoHFW today.  PMMRSSM is to be implemented in alliance with State’s Scheme Chief Minister-gi Hakchelgi Tengbang (CMHT) which is scheduled to be launched by the Prime Minister  on August 15 this year. Under PMRSSM, eligible family households identified from 2011 SECC Census will get cashless medical treatment benefits up to Rs.5.0 lakhs per family per year for secondary and tertiary care hospitalisation in public and empanelled private hospitals both within and outside the State.
The Minister was accompanied by R.Rang Peter, Joint Secy (Health n FW), Dr. K.Rajo Singh, Director of Health  Services, Dr.Probinchandra Arambam, Deputy Director (MD) and Dr. Premchandra Singh, Deputy Director (MD).
