State government expecting foreign tourists by road via Moreh

Imphal, Nov 5: State government is expecting foreign tourists by road via Moreh to witness the Sangai festival due to held from November 21 till November 30 this year. Already three Chartered flight are proposed to make available from Mandalay to Imphal during the festival but as the state government is expecting more tourists who chose to visit Imphal by road via Moreh, the Ministry of External Affairs has been asked to provide all necessary arrangement for setting up immigration Check Post by November 13.  Mentioned may be made that procedure for granting of Visa on Arrival have been almost completed for Myanmar’s tourist visiting the state. An immigration Check Post has been set up at Tulihal Airport Imphal. The same facilities are likely to make available at the immigration check post at Moreh too.
