State Cabinet is likely to discuss for devolution of power to autonomous district council and panchayat bodies on Aug. 14. According to a reliable source the cabinet will start from 3pm at the CM’s cabinet hall. Earlier the cabinet meeting had already discussed for devolution of powers to the local bodies and some of the ministry has been advice to follow with the directives of the central government. But as some of the department had not devolved the powers to the local bodies the matters has been put up to the table of the cabinet meeting.
