State cabinet discusses for establishment of Homeopathy Medical College

Imphal, Aug 4: State cabinet today discussed for establishment of Homeopathy Medical College in the state. A source with the Imphal Times said that the Cabinet meet began from 3 pm today with Chief Minister on the Chair. The source added that for the Health and Family Welfare Department the agenda discussed today includes upgradation of ANM/FHW Training School Churachandpur to GNM School; creations of seven posts for Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Science; creation of posts and appointments for starting of Post Graduate Courses in 6 subjects in JNIMS; Regularization of contract Engagement of 2 sister  Tutor s in the Medical Department and absorption of staff Nurse as Tutor in the College of Nursing by re-designation of the post held by them.
Other agenda discussed today are constitution of Imphal Smart City Limited to execute the smart city mission, signing of memorandum of agreement for the operation, maintenance and upgradation of the solid waste Management Plant at Lamdeng under PPP model.
The source further said that the state cabinet also discussed for direct purchase of land through negotiation for construction of National Sports University at Yaithibi Loukol and also for widening of the National High Ways from Lilong to Pallel; Wangjing to Khudengthabi via Heirok.
