Staffs of 4 aided college staged protest demanding conversion of full-fledged govt. college

Teaching and nonteaching staffs of four Government Aided College viz- South East Manipur College, Komlathabi, Moreh College, Moreh, Waikhom Mani Girl’s College Thoubal and S. Kula Women College , Nambol had staged a sit in protest at South East Manipur College , Komlathabi demanding conversion of the four colleges into full-fledged Government College within the month of November this year.
While appreciating the conversion of 6 aided college into a full-fledged government College, the representative of the four college expressed dissatisfaction towards the government intention towards the four college.
“These 4 colleges are still being unattended by the government in spit of relentless and reasonable demand by the respective College Governing Body and staffs”, a spokesperson said.
