With the increasing rates of crime against women in the state, students of Manipur Standard English School, Singjamei, Kakwa Asem Leikai today stage a standing protest at the school campus demanding immediate arrest of rapists, BJP MLA of Sekmai A/C and Thanga goons.
The protest was organise by Socialist Students Union of Manipur (SSUM) and Proletarian Feminist Movement Manipur (POFM).
Large number of students of the school took part in the protest.
Meanwhile a team of Socialist Students Union Manipur (SSUM) today visited the residence of the Thanga Gang Rape case. During the meeting Members of Proletariat Feminist Movement Manipur also attended. The SSUM volunteers assured to provide all support to deliver justice for the rape victim.
