SSF observed Eid-Milad-un-Nabi

The Sunni Students’ Federation (SSF), Manipur State Committee observed Eid-Milad-un-Nabi or Eid-e-Milad today at Jiribam to mark the birth of the Islamic Prophet Muhammad. 
In connection with the celebration, a grand rally started from Kashimpur bazaar which passed through National Highway-37  to Jiri Tipaimukh road and ended at Lalpani Eidgah ground.
The rallies carry green flags in their hands and tie ribbons on their wrists to celebrate Prophet Muhammad’s teachings. The green colour represents Islam and paradise.
The celebration of Eid-e-Milad is one of the ways Muslims pay tribute, respect, honour, and shower their love towards the last prophet of Islam. 
Thereafter, a grand sermon was delivered by Maulana Tamiz Uddin, Head Maulana Kashimpur Alia Madrasa in connection with the birthday celebration of prophet Muhammad. Maulana Minaj Uddin, Vice President, SSF Manipur State Committee also delivered speech in connection with Eid-e-Milad.
The SSF, Manipur State Committee also expressed gratitude to Jiribam District Administration for their co-operation to make the programme a grand successful.
