Some MLAs and Ministers are eyeing to be CM ignoring the ongoing violent crisis: MIKL

IT News
Imphal, Sept 8:

Tensions in Manipur continue to escalate as the Kukis allegedly launched drone and rocket attacks, targeting the Meitei community. Speaking to the media, Malem Ima Kanba Lup (MIKL) has stated that recent attacks have resulted in deaths and scores of injuries. They have raised the question based on what source the government had earlier announced that the conflict will be controlled in 6 months.. The conflict has now expanded beyond control, with the use of advanced weaponry such as rockets and drones by Kuki Narco-terrorists.
MIKL expressed its deep concern over the growing threat posed by these militants and urged both state and central authorities to take immediate action.
MIKL further criticized the current political climate, stating that “everyone wants to be Chief Minister, and the MLAs and Ministers have become shameless even in this situation.” The group pointed out that despite scores of injuries and combing operations conducted against village volunteers, no significant action has been taken against Kuki terrorists.
