SK Dev Verman sworn in as Manipur Lokayukta member

Siddharth Kishore Dev Verman was today sworn in as the Non-Judicial Member of the Manipur Lokayukta. The oath of office was administered by the Governor of Manipur, Ajay Kumar Bhalla, during a ceremony held at the Darbar Hall, Raj Bhavan in Imphal.
A retired IAS officer, S. K. Dev Verman previously served as the Chairman of the Manipur Public Service Commission from March 18, 2024, to January 12, 2025.
The swearing-in ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including MLAs Awangbow Newmai and M. Rameshwar Singh, Chief Secretary, Security Advisor, Director General of Police (DGP), Advocate General, and other senior officers and officials.
