Imphal, July 16: Art and Culture Minister L Jayantakumar along with local MLA, Parliamentary Secretary and other government officials inspected Wakha Ching and its surrounding areas for the construction of Manipur University of Culture, here today. Speaking to the media persons during his visit at the site said that construction of Culture University in the state is one of the major projects for the government. The construction work of the university was delayed due to the recent floods in the state, he added. Jayantakumar appeals the people of the area to extend full cooperation for the successful implementation of the culture university project and the local MLA and Parliamentary Secretary to take the key role of the project.
