Imphal, July 23: Locals of Uripok area held sit in protest demanding implementation of ILPS and withdrawal of the wanted tag on Khomdram Ratan today.
Hundreds of women participated in the sit in protest held in various places including Uripok Chakrikon, Uripok Tourangbam Leikai, Uripok Gopalji Leirak, Uripok Mayai Laikai, Lalambung Makhong, Nagamapal Singjubung and Nagamapal Kangjabi Leirak. Co-Convenors of the JCILPS visited these places and narrated about the implementation ILPS in the state to the volunteers.
