There is no let up in the protest demonstration demanding Inner Line Permit System in the state and punishment of the cop involved in the Killing of Sapam Robinhood. Sit-in-protests demonstrations and rally were continued at different parts of the state today.
Large number of protestor today storms to the residence of Heingang Assembly Constituency MLA N. Biren at around 2 pm. The protestors shouted slogan for implementation of ILPS in the state as well as punishment of the cops involved in the killing of Sapam Robinhood.
People of Kongba area have staged a sit-in-protest in front of the Ola Club, Kongba today. The protestors demanded to implement ILPS in Manipur and save indigenous people during the protest.
Locals of Konjeng Leikai, Langpok Lakpam Leikai, Ningthoukhongjam Leikai, Mongsangei Maning Leikai staged sit-in-protest at the community hall of WILL Club, Kongjeng Leikai. Later in the afternoon the meira paibi extended monetary assistance to the family of Sapam Robinhood.
At Keishamthong Elangbam Leikai too, meira paibi of the locals staged a sit-in-protest at the waiting shed of the locality.
Mass sit-in-protests were also held at Heirangoithong, Keishamthong Elangbam Leikai, Kangabam Leikai.
While, father of Sapam Robinhood, Sapam Romesh thanks all for supporting his family at the time of sorrow and appealed to continue the ongoing movement for implementation of ILPS till the fulfillment of the demand.
