Singnghat MLA cautions parents who fail to send wards to school

LAMKA, Jan. 29: Lack of proper infrastructures and facilities of education in hilly areas of Manipur is almost remaining as a problem that never solved.
Condition of Singngat government high school under Singngat Assembly constituency is not an exception from other government schools. The only high school in the area did not have toilet, kitchen room for mid-day-meal children. Due to the lack of development and teachers, local students are deprived of better education in the area.
The local MLA Ginsuanhau publicly assured to develop Singngat High School and its sub-division. However, there is no significant changes in the school and in the area.
In an interaction with the concerned MLA, 60-Singngat Assembly Constituency Ginsuanhau said “under my constituency teachers, who did not give attention to their duty shall be take action following with the Right to Education Act, and their parent who did not sent their wards without learning will must sent to jail.”
Singngat Sub-division is a border areas in Churachandpur district Singngat Govt High School need to be upgrade as senior secondary school, and added that the school will have a tour programe on February last week with an assurance given by education minister.
Elaborating his point, Ginsuanhau said, under education (S) there are 37 schools, and 227 Autonomous District Council schools, it found guilty of the teachers and not start students upto march this year
there will face judgement, and asked each school authority to enrol a students upto the second week of march.
He further said that in Lungchin Govt high school transfer shall be utilized and expected 20 students should be enrolled during this admission drive.
