Shiv Sena Manipur demands action over burning of PM Modi’s hoardings in Churachandpur

Shiv Sena Manipur Pradesh has demanded strict action against those who set ablaze hoardings and festoons prepared for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s proposed visit to Churachandpur. State president M. Tombi said at the party’s Babupara office that the act was an insult not only to the Prime Minister but also to the people of Manipur.
He said the Prime Minister’s visit aims to support Internally Displaced Persons affected by unrest triggered by illegal influx from Myanmar and to restore peace by ending the Free Movement regime. Tombi urged Central and State forces to identify the perpetrators and take immediate punitive action.
