Shillong Manipuri Students Union also observed the Patriot’s Day at Manipur House , Red Land in Laitumukhra, Shillong today. President of the All Manipur Students Union Manjit and other members also attended at Patriot’s day observance.
Free Lance Writer Sh Ajit also attended the observance and delivered speech on the present issues and elaborated on the need to remain alert. He brought the issue as the present day Manipur is under threat to its sovereignty due to the ongoing peace talk between the government of India and the NSCN-IM . Recalling on how the martyrs of the erstwhile nation sacrifice for protection of their nation Ajit said we should culture the spirit of our forefather and keep the spirit to fight for protection of our land.
