Shija Hospitals launches state wide poster slogan campaign

While participating a poster slogan campaign on protecting and avoiding head injury launched by Department of Neurology, Shija Hospitals, here at Traffic Island of Kangla Western Gate, Minister Works and Transport Dr Kh Ratankumar has appealed the people to wear helmet, avoid rash driving and talking to mobile phones while driving in order to avoid from accident.
Department of Neurosurgery, Shija Hospitals, Langol initiated the poster slogan campaign in connection with the “World Head Injury Awareness Day” which is being observed on 20 March every year worldwide.
Speaking to media persons Dr Kh Palin, Managing Director of Shija Hospitals said with the increase number of motor vehicles in the State, the rate of road accident has risen day by day. It also causes undue burden and loss to the families of patients.
He also observed that the critically unrest in society and high mental stress has direct/ indirect implications with the raising rate of road accidents occurring in Manipur.
With an aim to create mass awareness and to reduce the accident, Shija Hospitals has initiated the poster campaign.
As part of the campaign the hospital will display posters inscribe with slogans like Never Let A Friend Drive Home Drunk; Road Safety Is Your Concern; Speed Thrills But Kills; Save Yourself!Wear Helmet; Embrace Life! Wear Seat Belt; Drive Slow! Someone Is Waiting For You At Home across the state, informed Palin.
