Troops of 12 BIHAR of 9 Sector AR under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) apprehended one KCP (MTF) cadre on 17 Dec 2014 from general area Leirambam. The apprehendee was identified as Taorem Hero Singh, S/o L Lakshman Singh, resident of Gobindgram. One 9mm pistol alongwith a live round was recovered from his possession. The apprehendee along with the recovered items has been handed over to the Nambol Police Station.
In another operation, the same unit along with Bishnupur Commandos also apprehended one UNLF cadre on Dec. 16 Kamong area. The apprehendee was identified as Saroijam Bimol Singh, aged 32 yrs, S/o Late S H Tombi Singh, resident of Kamong Meisnam Maning Leikai, Bishnupur. The apprehendee has been handed over to the Nambol Police Station.
