Continuing its humanitarian services, Seva Bharati Manipur took a compassionate step forward by distributing blankets to children of Compassion Children Ministries (CCM) Orphanage at Karong under Senapati district today.
To provide warmth during the colder months, the humanitarian organization has distributed 150 blankets to support the well-being of children in need of care and protection, who are staying at the orphanage.
The local leaders and functionaries of the orphanage appreciated the initiative of Seva Bharati Manipur and said that it reflected Seva Bharati’s dedication to making a positive impact on vulnerable communities. Blankets, a basic necessity often taken for granted, can bring comfort and protection to those facing challenging circumstances. The distribution event witnessed heart-warming moments as children received the blankets with gratitude.
“We believe in the power of collective kindness, and by providing blankets to orphanages, we aim to contribute to the health and happiness of the children under their care. Sewa Bharti is committed to its mission of serving humanity and creating a positive change in the lives of those who need it the most,” Asokan Musaliyatmelangadi, a senior functionary of Seva Bharati Manipur said while addressing the gathering at the orphanage.
Bishnupur:
Seva Bharati Manipur in association with various organizations has also distributed educational kits and jackets to 278 internally displaced students who are currently staying at 10 relief centres established in Chandpur, Keibul, Chingmei, Moirang Khunou, Moirang Khunou and Thangalawai areas under Bishnupur district.
