Imphal, July 16: As part of the ongoing phase-wise cleanliness drive being conducted under the patronage of Th Bangkimchandra Singh, BJP Councillor of IMC, locals of Ward No 15 of Singjamei Assembly Constituency conducted cleansing of drainage at their locality today.
The cleanliness drive, according to Bangkimchandra, has been conducting at different parts of the assembly constituency in phase-wise manner in order to alleviate the problems being face by locals during this rainy season.
In today’s drive, drainage at Singjamei Yumnam Leikai and surrounding areas were cleaned, and the cleanliness drive will also be conducted at other surrounding places of the A/C, said the Councillor.
