Imphal, Aug. 4: District police of Imphal valley continues search operation at various places as a part of the security measures ahead of the Independent Day celebration.In Imphal West district a team of Imphal West police led by Additional SP Meghachandra to comb the Old Nambulane area from 4.am to 6 am today morning. Men and women were verified one after another by the police team accompanied by troops of 4 IRB. During the verification 9 non locals and 2 local people were found without any identification documents. The police team picked all the 11 persons for further verification.At Thoubal district too, a team of Thoubal Police Commando conducted search operation for unwanted elements at Khangabok Part 2 area.
