Imphal, Oct. 8:
In connection with the upcoming Bye-Election of 3030-Lilong AC and 34-Wangjing Tentha AC of Thoubal District, state police today conducted a Cordon and house to house search operation was conducted at Lilong Turel Ahanbi Darul Uloom eastern and northern areas from 4.45 am to 7.30 am. In the said operation about 60 houses were searched properly and about 350 residents including females were verified. 3 Double Barrel guns, 2 Single Barrel along with cartridges and 1 Non Prohibited Bore ( NPB) ’20 pistol were recovered during Search Operation.
