Imphal, Jan 20: As a part of security measures ahead of the Indian republic day, state force has been conducting various search operation to flush out anti social lection. A team of Imphal West Police commando and Lamphel police led by its SDPO today conducted a cordon and conducted house to house search operation at Nagaram, Tangkhul avenue areas. The operation started at 0530 hours and was closed at 0700 hours. A total of 12 persons including 4 women were picked up and handed over to Lamphel ps for further verification. The operation was led by Shri Wangkhomba, Lamphel SDPO and Shri Rojit Irom, Dy.S.P (cdo), IW under the supervision of Additional SP(Ops)/ IW Dr S. Ibomcha Singh.
