SEACO appeals people of the state to worship Pisatao Khut-heiba

South East Asia Cultural Organization (SEACO) today appealed to the people of the state to worship Pisatao Khut-heiba on September 17.A press statement released by Kolomcha Achoubi Khuman, Working President, SEACO said that the state had its unique culture and religion since olden days. However, the religion of the state was largely affected after August 28, 1709 during the reign of Ningthou Pamheiba. Due to this, Manipuris are now facing the threat of extinction. It is the duty of this generation to revive language, culture and religion of the state.He further said that SEACO is working hard with the people of the state for revival of cultural and religious festivals which had been replaced by other religious festivals. It further greeted the people of the state for a prosperous Pisatao Khut-heiba.
