Jiribam,Oct 18:

The Manipur government has conceptualised School Fagathansi  Mission with a holistic approach for improving school education sector in the State seems to be an approach of school Muthathansi mission in Jiribam district, Stated by MSF District Committee, Jiribam President Atom Rajiv Meetei.
Speaking, in a press conference held at the office of MSF District Committee, Jiribam Atom Rajiv Meetei said amidst the repeated claims to the authority for the shortage of teachers at the schools of Jiribam. Recently, amongst the 814 teachers transfers of entire Manipur. 4 teachers from Jiribam Higher Secondary School, 6 teachers from  Borobekra Higher Secondary School, and 1 teacher from Jirighat High school were transfers without giving replacement of teachers.
“Such transferring of teachers without giving replacement of teachers from Jiribam District where there is a shortage of teachers seems to be a way of school abolishing mission”, Rajiv Added.
If the authority concern has to transfer the teachers then in the meantime they should give a replacement of teachers. Without giving replacement, transferring of teachers will not be acceptable. He also appealed to the school not to issue a release order.
Rajiv also cautions, if the teachers were transferred without giving replacement then it may lead to stringent agitation against the authority concerned.
DESAM President, Bilakhs Meitei stated amidst the double enrolment ratio of students to the two government secondary schools of Jiribam for the session. The government instead of giving attention to the students had transferred the teachers from the schools of Jiribam District without giving replacement is vehemently condemned by AMASU, MSF, DESAM  and KSA of Jiribam District.
The transfer order of teachers from the Jiribam District should be reverted as soon as earliest. Unless the four students bodies of Jiribam district will lead a democratic way of agitation.
