The Sangai Ethnic Park in Manipur has been awarded the title of Asia’s Best Civic Building Architecture Design at the 2024 Asia Architecture Design Awards (AADA) in Bangkok. Celebrating the “Emerging Asia” theme, the awards highlight the fusion of tradition and innovation in architecture across the continent. Huidrom Design Studio, the mastermind behind the project, was recognized for their outstanding contribution to the architectural landscape.
The event, held at SO/Bangkok, gathered architects, designers, and industry professionals to honour exceptional achievements in the field. The Sangai Ethnic Park, which celebrates Manipur’s rich cultural heritage, stood out among over 1,500 entries from various Asian countries.
