Maoist Communist Party, Manipur today in a press statement said that public agitation in demand to punish coach Chaoba of Sports Authority of India (SAI), Takyel Khongbal is reasonable as he is found guilty in the incident.Comrade Nonglen Meitei, Secretary Publicity and Propaganda of Maoist Communist Party, Manipur in a press statement, today said that the concern authority should suspend two officials and three coaches of SAI for trying to conceal the wrong deeds of coach Chaoba. Otherwise, the outfit will impose social boycott inside SAI Complex. It also said that the outfit will not remain silent if coach Chaoba surrender himself by accepting his misbehavior.Maoist statement further said that two officials and three coaches namely SAI, STC in-charge Konsam Michael, Thoubal Keithel, Warden N. Chandrajini, Wangkhei Ningthem Pukhri Maphal, Archery coach Santa, Kwakeithel Mayaikoibi, Kho-Kho Kabaddi Coach N. Manjuri, Wahengbam Leikai and Hockey Coach Sakuntala, Ayangpalli involved in intimidating the players not to reveal the matter to any organizations or anyone else. Besides this, Konsam Michael has swindled lot money meant for the welfare of the players. The outfit serves a dateline of 10 days to suspend the five officials.Mention may be made that SAI coach O Chaoba has been remanded in police custody for 15 day on Friday after producing him to the court.
