The Rubber Board has announced openings for the position of Young Professionals in Extension Services within the Rubber Production Department, aiming to recruit technical human resources to support rubber development in Non-Traditional (NT) regions and North Eastern (NE) states. The roles offer a consolidated monthly pay of ¹ 40,000 and are temporary appointments.
A total of 40 positions are available in the NE region and 10 in the NT region. Candidates interested in applying must hold a B.Sc. in Agriculture, Horticulture, or Forestry, or an M.Sc. in Botany or Plant Science from a recognized university. Eligibility for NE positions is limited to candidates from North Eastern states, while candidates from Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, and West Bengal will be preferred for NT region roles. Proficiency in local languages is an additional advantage for applicants.
The Board has set an age limit of 30 years as of October 1, 2024, for these positions. Successful candidates will engage in extension and development activities for the Rubber Production Department in both regions until March 31, 2026.
Interested individuals can submit applications online through the Rubber Board’s website (www.rubberboard.org.in) by 11:59 PM on November 13, 2024. The selection process will involve a written test and an interview, to be held in Guwahati, Agartala, or Mangalore. Candidates are advised that engagement in these roles does not entitle them to future claims for permanent positions with the Rubber Board.
