The State Academy Training, Manipur organised an annual programme on ‘Improving Transparency and Accountability in Governance through effective implementation of Right to Information’ today at DC Conference Hall, Senapati.
The programme was sponsored by the Department of Personnel & Training, Government of India.
In today’s programme, Advocate Seikholen Lupho who is the resource person elaborately explained the provision and the importance of RTI Act which is essential for good governance and also imparted the trainers how to respond to information seekers.
As part of the programme, an interaction session on relevant issues of RTI was also discussed.
The programme was attended by DLO’s and various staff from different departments of the district.
