RSS coordination meet discusses drug abuse, youth and social issues

The three-day Akhil Bharatiya Samanvay Baithak of RSS-inspired organisations concluded at Gudilova near Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, with discussions on youth concerns, drug abuse, demographic changes, environmental conservation and self-reliant development.

The meeting was attended by 326 delegates, including 49 women, representing 32 organisations. RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat, Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale and other senior functionaries participated.
RSS Sah Sarkaryavah C.R. Mukunda said the meeting reviewed relief and rehabilitation initiatives undertaken during natural disasters, including floods in Assam, and programmes organised to mark the 650th birth anniversary of Sant Ravidas.

Participants expressed concern over demographic changes and the growing use of narcotic substances among students and youth. The meeting called for coordinated efforts involving families, educational institutions, social organisations, administration and police to combat drug abuse.

Discussions also covered youth issues, Artificial Intelligence, environmental conservation and the Sangh’s centenary-year initiative, Panch Parivartan, which focuses on social harmony, family values, environmental protection and behavioural changes such as reducing plastic use, conserving water and increasing green cover.
