RPF/PLA reiterated stands on restriction on ex-cadres from contesting election

Imphal, Dec 14: Revolutionary People’s Party (RPF) has reiterated that its restriction of contesting election by deserters of RPF and its army wing PLA is still in force and their former cadres should refrain themselves from contesting in the upcoming 11th Manipur Legislative Assembly elections.
In a release, Roben Khuman, Secretary Publicity, RPF, said that the party has been wedging war against India to regain sovereignty of Manipur and contesting in the election by accepting the Constitution of India is violation of its principle.
Stating that those who violate the rule of the outfit are the enemy of the people, Roben Khuman warned that former cadres of RPF/PLA should refrain themselves from contesting in the forthcoming election and those who violate the restriction must accept punishments awarded by the party.
