Imphal, Jan 27: The state police commando of Jiribam unit led by SI AK Jotin and ASI E Doren with the assistance of a column of 37 AR apprehended an active cadre of the proscribed group RPF/PLA identified as Khundrakpam Kiran Singh (25) S/o Ranjit of Lamlen Khunou Jiribam from kaiphundai Village area along NH-37 at around 7.30 am on 26 January. The arrest was made after specific information on the movement of armed individuals was received and a frisking and checking operation was conducted. A mobile phone and a SIM card was recovered from the arrested person.
