Proscribed group RPF pays tributes to the martyred revolutionary cadres who had laid down for the cause of the nation’s freedom with the coming of April 13 which the armed rebel group has been observing as Athoubasinggi Numit every year.
In a statement of the outfit, it is stated that the armed group pays respect to all the people of the state irrespective of which community they belong to. It said that the RPF and its armed wing PLA pay tribute to the martyred and vow to all people of the state who have been supporting the cause since a long time ago.
The RPF statement further said that it is better to die than live as a slave. “ It is better to die by living as a free citizen fr one day than living as a slave forever.
April 13 is significant for the revolutionary Peoples’ front as it was the day where many of the top leaders of the outfit sacrificed fighting for the cause of the freedom of the erstwhile nation which they said that the erstwhile kingdom was forcibly annexed to the Indian Union.
The armed group appealed all people to pay tribute to the memorial site of the martyred revolutionary fighters and said that they will continue to fight for the cause of the nation.
emotion may be made that every 13 of April has been observed as the Athoubasinggi Ningsing Numit by the people of the state. Family members of the departed cadres were allowed to pay homage to the memorial site of the martyrs but only after getting prior permission from the High Court.
This time too the friends and family members of those departed souls are trying to get permission for paying respect.
